My sis and bro.. do not ask me which anime character they are... there are wigs and shoes for each character too...

I had always wanted to do something to my hair.. so few weeks ago... I dyed my hair... and now.. I think it's time to change hair style again...

My hair is naturally straight... so straight that even saloon made temporary curl can never hold.. Hence.. I decided to do treat my hair a digital perm...

Here it goes...

This is how my hair look like just before the perm... my eyes looked terrible with close up shot further more without make up... so.. allow me to cover the eyes...

I told the hair stylist, Terrence that I want something wavy... not too curl.. which can give me romantic feel.. and Terrence told me that this the first time he heard people used the term "romantic" to describe about hair style... ok.. nevermind that...

I chose medium curl... and this is how I looked like in the middle of the perm... weird enough... with a lot of cables connecting to my "head"... and I feel that my head is a few kg heavier... with all the stuffs "connected"....

And this is the end product... back view... nice kan? this is only for the first day... after that is very much depend on your own styling skill... which I am not good in...

Oh ya... I went to the saloon with my Ruyuan.... and she changed her hair style too... let me post a photo of her here.... hee~

A Gift from Ching Foo

Today was the day... The return of Ching Foo to office... early morning... He sent sms to 3 of us (PK, Allan, myself)... gave us a very important mission... "to gather the 5S members at the cafeteria for his arrival at 9 something"

And we did as what he instructed... he had gone UK training for 3 months... so must act missing him a bit lar... so that we will get our souvenirs.... sshhhh....

This is the picture of the souvenir I got... which I think it's very nice.. its a necklace made with murano glass from venice!!

Besides... He brought me another gift too.... which is.. Scratte!!!!!

I went to a few McD and failed to get that.... I told my poor Scrat that he will need to stay alone forever... My poor Scrat stil sitting naively on my office phone... waiting for his girl friend....

But thanks to Ching Foo.. for sending a gf to my Scrat....and this was how happy Scrat is when he first met Scratte...

The young couple after a fight... and they are still mad to each other until now...

My entire office went crazy with Scrat.... and we had a Scrat attack in the office some time ago...

Prettia hair dye DIY

It has been a long time since my last entry.. I guess it's time to update my blog a bit =]

Some time ago I was browsing the internet.. then suddenly I came across this.... from a blog from Taiwan...

So... what's so special about this hair dye? It's known as bubble hair dye.. which means... you dye your hair like you are shampooing... and they claim this DIY dying will never fail....wow... sound easy and cool ya?

Next I begin to search for this item from online.. because Malaysia do not import Prettia "yet"... Common price for one box of Prettia is around RM50... without postage... From the information I gather... long hair (breast length) need only one box... the content is enough... with this in mind.. I think the price is kinda worth.... as normal Loreal hair dye will need 2 boxes for the same hair length...

And I did some online shopping... wanna find the best bargain mar... AND... I saw somebody selling one Prettia hair dye at only RM30 including postage... yippiee... the seller bought but do not feel like using.. so let go at a cheaper price... perfect timing... =D anyway i did not get to choose the color as she was selling one box only :P

and this is what I bought.... Bright orange... hehehe.... As my original hair color is very dark and indeed the hair is kind of thick.. very hard to "hold" the color... so i must choose a very light and bright color as the first dye....

and this the box I got... they show the "supposingly" before and after hair color....

the tools inside... hand gloves included.. as well as leave on treatment.. the instructions attached were all in japanese... so do some googles and you are good to go :)

I left the dye on my hair for nearly 40mins and massage my scalp every now and then... and this the before and after photo.... both without flash.... ok.... dun look at the face.. just focus on the hair color will do.. *wink*

I know it's not obvious.. but that is what I want lar~ the "now you see... now you don't" effect... hehe... not seen indoor... dark brown under fluoroscent... bright brown under the sun... perfect... =D somebody even ask if I did a 3D dye to my hair... so happy~

Macau/GuangZhou 5D4N trip - Day4

First destination today... 珠江...

Opposite 珠江 is 星海音乐厅... so as usual... photo...the main building is shaped as a piano....

and there is this statue outside... so.... you know what I gonna do next right? *wink*

Man made waterfall... I have no idea why we were brought to this place.. Nth special to me... maybe there is really nth much to visit in GuangZhou~ not too sure :P

and this very big field opposite the waterfall...

After dinner... it's shopping time... yay~

Have a look at the stuffs I bought within 1.5 hours... hee!~ in case some of you are interested.. let me share about the price too... the dress on the right... rmb50 each... t-shirt in plastic rmb35.... black color t-shirt rmb10.. black color short pants rmb35.... jeans rmb20... brown miniskirt rmb20... umbrella rmb25... socks rmb2 per pair....most of the things you will need to bargain... never afraid to try... even they already label as best price or no bargain... try your luck... pretend to walk away... most of them will call you back...

Today we din get to go to a lot of places... as nearly 1/3 of the group fall sick and were admitted to hospital... wasted a lot of time waiting and sending them back and forth... so one advice... take good care of yourself if you are travelling during summer... drink plenty of water... we can easily fall sick due to the sudden hot(outdoor) and cold(indoor, bus) environment....

I will not blog about day5, as we wasted the whole day waiting outside hospital... to get an official letter from the hospital.. to certify that tour mates that admited to hospital were not affected by H1N1... tired.... but its a good experience...

NEVER GO TRAVEL WHEN THERE IS INFLUENZA!!

Macau/GuangZhou 5D4N trip - Day3

Today we went to a temple... the "wong fei hung" muzium is inside... 黄飞鸿纪念馆to be exact.. :D

We then had our lunch at Asia largest buffet restaurant.. something like tat... a lot of varieties... but too many ppl.... some of the food you will need to queue for ages before you can get it... and too bad they do not allow us to take picture when inside... so.. no pictures.... I personally dun really like this... its too big... and you waste your time walking to get food and back to your table... even toilet will need to queue for long... I still prefer Jogoya though....

The last tourist spot for today is 宝墨园. This is a very very beutiful place.. if you have got time.. then can spend some time explore the whole area... a lot of local ppl here too...

Macau/GuangZhou 5D4N trip - Day2

The first place to visit after breakfast.... 珠海渔女.. there is actually a story behind this... some kind of love story... google about it if you are interested.. lets go directly to the pictures...
this is a must visit spot... its landmark for 珠海...
Next we came to this 石景山公园... its a place for local ppl to walk walk and exercise... you can omit this place if you are going for free and easy... we need to pay RMB50 per person to get a cable car ride up to the hill top... and then come down with toboccan...

The hill top... scenary so so... no wow factor...
toboccan.. I would rate this the most excited part lar... its much more faster than Genting toboccan... good!

Lunch at a very nice restaurant.... the food are nice too...
And bought some big and round Chinese peaches... smell nice... juicy... but taste.. so so lar.. almost tasteless... not as sweet or sour as what I expected...

Finally we reached the statue... its so hot that we straight away cabut once pictures taken...

Tried the very famous local dessert... 双皮奶 translation to English will be "double layer milk"?? at the oldest and most famous shop... 李禧记.... I like this dessert... sweet and smooth.. and its so milky~~

The last place we went today was 顺峰牌坊 I dunno what it calls in English... anywhere.. this a very big garden... but too bad we were following tour... so we only have enough time to take some pictures at the entrance.. but do not have the chance to walk through the entire area...

Macau/GuangZhou 5D4N trip - Day1

I went for a family trip last week, too lazy to organize the picture... sorry for the long wait.. here comes the very first post about the trip.... To make it more easy reading, I had decided to blog about this trip base on a day by day basis...

So.. Day1... we reached Macau... and spent our day there.... Really nth very interesting in Macau I could say.... only casino.. casino and casino..

The very first attraction we went... the golden lotus.. lotus is city flower of Macau.... look kinda similar to the one in Hong Kong... gifted by the China government to Macau...

We were then brought to a shop which sell famous local biscuits.. kinda similar with HongKong too.. maybe only the size is different.. I was surprise that we were not brought to the more famous shop like 咀香园 or 鉅记 but to this 澳门老饼家. What made me more surprise is like... the price... I was later found out that the more famous shops selling the same thing at a much lower price...say.. HKD10 difference for a same packet of pork floss wafer...

Nevermind that since i din buy any... and now its lunch time.... food are nice...
after lunch.. we went to the most famous historial spot... 大三芭... its a piece of wall left over from war... this piece of wall is actually the landmark of Macau... We had to walk few minutes to reach there is no place for a bus to park.. and the road is too small...
and while walking...I spot this car... which full of soft toys.. hahaha....

Finally I reached...the wall...
Shophouses nearby... as I am following tour.. too bad the tour guide never allow us to have a walk there... if you are going free and easy... you can never miss this place...

We then went to The Venetian... one of the famous casino in Macau... there is a hotel.. a shopping complex.. beside the casino... the shopping place is designed as the Venetian... Maybe First World Genting is a smaller version of this? haha... but this is far more beutiful...

The river... the boat ride is expensive.. HKD250 per person if I remember correctly...

The very grand casino...too bad we are not allowed to take picture in casino... as usual... the casino is very spacious... not "smoky" like Genting too....

Eric's bachelor party

My colleague, Eric is getting married on the 20th June and hence we organized this bachelor party for him. :)

We did it in OXO at Bayan Indah, which is near to HSBC Queensbay. There were 13 of us including the main actor.

We actually had a dresscode for this party.

We finished our OXO party at around 12.30am... and then we dismiss? Nah~ we headed straight down to upper penang street and clubbing in F.A.M.E till 3am....

and we are looking forward to the next party.... perhaps... Eric's wedding dinner? I'll definitely blog about it.. so stay tune :)

RMVB player

I bought one RMVB player through my colleague. As there are 20 of us, and we are buying 23 pieces, hence we manage to get the player at quite a good price. RM150 per piece.

Too bad that I do not have a tv to try it out, hence have to wait till this weekend when I can try this out at somebody's else place. Nevermind that, I am gonna show you some pictures of the player now.

Presenting to you, Clamul moviebox. We did not go for the one with HDMI support as there are too many difficulties in getting a good bargain HDMI support RMVB player.

Cannot deny that they did a good packaging.
I guess this packaging must have gone through drop test before go into manufacturing.

As usual, the player came with some accessories. Besides the player, there are remote control, user manual, cables, and DC power adaptor.

Can't wait to test it out this weekend. :)

Melaka 2D1N trip

I went down to Melaka with my family on last weekend (23-24 May 209). The main purpose is actually to get all my bro's rubbish back. He will be finishing his foundation study in MMU Melaka this week. Since we are going all the way down to Melaka, as usual, we decided to stay one night there and enjoy ourselves. This time, we chose Straits Meridian Hotel, which is just next to Melaka mosque.

We booked a suite for around RM150, comes with two breakfasts. The room is facilitate with a separate bedroom, a kitchenette, bathroom, small living room and a dining table. A few pictures below showing theroom.

After some rests, we head to Dataran Pahlawan. Too excited and I had totally forgot to take pictures.

We head to Melaka River around 7pm.

St. Xavier chuch, which situated opposite to Melaka river.

Old houses can be seen all along the Melaka river. I just like this place. It gives me the vacation feel. Melaka government must have put a lot of money to transform this area to a lovely tourist spot. Melaka river was once famous with its polution, but now you can hardly smell anything. There are internet cafe, handicraft shops, cafe, bistros along the river.

While I was enjoying my walk along the river, suddenly I saw this. A cat sleeping beside an aloe vera plant inside a pot. It even looked into the camera when I was shooting it. -_-"

This is a new building at the entrance to Jonker Street. Not sure how new it is, at least last year it was not here.

Visiting the shop, "sam sook gung" or 三叔公 in chinese. It's nicely renovated. It also has a cafe in it where you can have some light refreshments.
Trying durian chendol at the attached cafe. I dunno how to describe the taste, its just... so durian... RM5.80 per bowl.

Heading to Jonket Street for food.

We had our dinner at the most famous chendol shop. Hou Jiak had shooted this restaurant before and ever since then, we had to queue for a long time to get our food. We ordered 3 different noodles and of course the famous chendol.

The famous chendol. However I think it's not as nice as last time. The gula Melaka macam not as "phang" or "hiong" as last time. RM1.70 per bowl.

Baba laksa. A little spicy, you can taste the fish clearly. I guess they are using tuna flakes in oil. :D A lot of coconut milk. If you do not like coconut milk, its a no-no dish for you. For me, its ok as I enjoy coconut milk. RM3.50 per bowl.

Nyonya Asam laksa. They serve this with tuna too, just as what I mentioned about Baba laksa. This asam laksa taste differently with Penang laksa. Penang laksa is sour and a little sweet at the background. But for this Nyonya Asam laksa, its very sour and a little salty. No prawn paste. I still prefer the Penang laksa more. RM3.50 per bowl.

Rendang chicken. A little spicy, I guess this is the concentrated version of the Baba laksa. Although this does not come with tuna. It's a lot richer in coconut milk if compare to Baba laksa. RM3.50 per bowl.

After dinner, we walked around Jonker street and did some shopping. I bought a bag. RM15. I guess I should have bargained, but that time I was too happ and paid the money without saying anything. I just... love the bag... Anyway, it's canvas and I think it's kinda worth the money... (trying to psycho myself a bit)

And my sis bought one pair of beatle slippers. Recently she had crazily fall in love with beatles. Another new item for her beatles collections. RM10.

My sis bought one pair of cute ear rings too. My little bro bought two Samurai swords and two Japanese umbrella whereas Joshua, bought a hat and a pair of couple T-shirts. Too bad that I forgot to take pictures of all those.

Something to talk about during our way back to get our car. I saw two polices taking care of traffic on a horse. Wow~ I thought this would only happen in oversea. Suddenly realise that our Malaysian police can be so "yeng" too. *shyshy*
And you think that's the end? No no, more amazing thing coming. Do you know what I saw directly opposite the "yau yeng" police? Watch the video below:

A1-8-8 gathering at Holiday Inn Resort Batu Ferenggi

It's been a long long time since my last post.... hahaha... too much time for drama.... too little time for blogging *wink*

Anyway.. we had an A1-8-8 ex-housemates gathering at Batu Ferenggi, Penang some time ago.... We spent a total of two nights there.... and here comes the entry.. after such a long wait.... :)

Day1 (Red Box Gurney Karaoke --> Dinner at Pulau Tikus Lok Lok --> Check in to hotel)

It was the very first night.... so we posed just for the sake of taking some pictures...

Day2 (Breakfast at famous dim sum at town --> Visit to zhou tian yang aquarium --> Gurney shopping and lunch --> ping pong --> swimming --> Water sport at Batu Ferenggi --> Dinner at Sunset Bistro --> Batu Ferenggi Pasar Malam --> Ruqing birthday celebration)

Back from shopping.... before we go for the sun... a group photo of all the ladies... see how happy we are? It's been nearly two years since our last met which was during our graduation....

What's next... I will call the next activity as "beach jumping cum photo capturing".. what a long name...

ooppss.... we missed.... but almost there...

BINGO... I would rate this the best beach jumping photo... Look at the legs... the hands... the smiles.... They are just..... PERFECT..... and now..... take a look at the next picture....

Taken tons of pictures... with this the best one... why this? At least everyone was in motion....

We went for parachute too... or parasailing? whatever... It cost RM55 per person.. no bargain...they do give receipt though... -_-

Wearing all the neccessary stuffs... to make sure you could come back alive... this include a life jacket... but there is no jelly fish protection gear available... maybe you want to consider wearing long sleeves, long pants with a pair of sport shoes....

Final checking and some briefings... I am not that short particularly... this guy is just crazily tall....

Getting ready to take off... there is no turning back at this point... look at the parachute... it's all up...

.... and we are up.... hurray~~

It was really cool flying up there.... :) and then we landed....

And what's next? Banana boat of course... with a capsize.... why would you pay RM15 per pax to ride a banana boat which is not capsizing right? that was how i psycho some of the ladies... *evil laugh* anyway.. Ruqing was firm... she sacrifized herself and jaga our belongings.. most importantly.... someone to camera all the fun~

All gear up.... while waiting for our turn.... we took some shots... who is that tongue showing lady? *sweat* undeniably ugliest among all....

The next while-waiting-shot.... dai jeh dai with 5 ma zai standing at the back....

Some briefings before we are off.... by me of course.. the only one who had banana-boated before... but... macam no one is listening? *speechless*

A big thank you to ruqing... who stayed back and took care of our belongings...

Pyy quenched for beers.... It cost around RM30 for a bucket... If I am not mistaken... It's not as expensive as you may think... check the place out :)

Just before 12am.... we celebrated ruqing's birthday.... A cake we bought from Secret recipe this afternoon... we were supposed to do this at the beach front... but all were too tired after back from pasar malam shopping.... hence we did it in our room....

King Crab

We had King Crab on 16th October... we went to Hanaro Market to choose for our King Crab.. I think they just steam it or boil it inside water... without any seasoning.. I think its very super the big..
We bought two king crabs.. one big one small.. Big one cost around 140,000 won and the small one cost around 40,000 won..

1st Day in Korea - Seoul Land

At the entrance of Seoul Park.. the gigantic map.. It consists of zoo... fun park.. and other areas.. which I forgotten... haha...

On our way walking to seould land.. i think we took 10 to 15 mins to reach seould land from the entrance of seoul park..

Cinderella pumpkin car.. hahaa Halloween is coming.. so we see that the park is decoraded with a lot of pumpkins..

1st Day in Korea

Today was the very first day of my Korea training trip... too tired to blog yesterday so i decided to blog about it today.. although i feel sleepy too...

I took SIA from Penang to Korea thru transit in Singapore... Had Nandos with Weizhe in Penang airport... had tuna roll in flight to Singapore...

Had Genki Sushi in Changi Airport..

Had chicken ham croissant as supper and one breakfast in the flight from Singapore to Korea... I cant finish the breakfast because i am too full...

Mr. Kang came and fetched us from Incheon airport to our hotel... nearly one hour drive...

Then.. we met up with Alex.. our project lead.. who came to Korea one week plus ago... and... went to breakfast again.. as Mr Kang had not eaten... Spicy Udon.. i duno wats the real name.. but it taste spicy.. other than.. nth much.. not very nice..

Rice roll.. because i was too full.. so i din try this one.. no comments...

pork dumplings.. not nice.. we still have another plate of kimchi dumplings.. not nice also.. maybe because i was too full.. so whatever food i felt its not nice... haha..

Free soup of the day with any meal purchase as of Merdeka day... The soup is nice... very nice indeed.. yum yum..
Mermaid Freeze.. combination of a few fruits... I forgot what fruits were inside d... :P but its expensive.. cost RM10.90

My all time favourite... Mussels in Garlic and Lemon RM14.90.. This is super super delicious... a must try for all...

My another aunty... who is my dad's elder sister... and family.. thanks to them.. taking the trouble and came from OUG.. somemore on a rainy day... gave me a bouquet of roses..
My aunty.. who is my mum's younger sister.. with her family.. came all the way from Kepong... and gave me one angpau too.. i was so happy :D
and finally.. zhe.. gave me a bouquet of roses with a graduate bear tied on it.. I wanted this bear when i saw it yesterday during my fren's convo.. and he actually gave this bear to me.. although i din tell him.. i think its fate.. *wink* :D hehe..

8th MMU Convocation - Day 2 (12 Aug 2007)

Yesterday was my convo.. the long waiting event ever since i enrolled in MMU in 2003... This year convo was divided into 3 days.. Faculty of engineering was on the second day..

I woke up at 5.45am and went to fetch my friend and her family in a hotel in puchong.. by the time i parked my car.. it was already 7.15am... and then my mum called.. they reached but could not enter the campus because the car sticker was still with me.. so i rushed to the entrance and passed the sticker to them.. i "rejoined" my gang at 7.45am... all of them already in the robe and mortar board.. and guess wat.. i wore the robe on the spot... and then we took some pictures before enter the grand hall...My mummy and daddy... Flowers from my parents and chocolate bouquet from my aunty (mum's youngest sister)

we entered the hall at around 8am.. every FOE (faculty of engineering) graduate will get a rose given by our FOE dean.. pictures on the ceremony will be uploaded soon.. because my camera was with my parents.. haha..

Ceremony ended around 12pm.. after all the attendees get out from the grand hall.. it started to rain.. everyone was running and trying to hide under roof.. those that cant find a place keep on pushing those already standing under shelter earlier.. luckily the side entrance of the hall was once again opened and let us all in.. while in the waiting room.. I had taken a picture with my dad.. the flowers are not mine... just curi as a background.. haha.. my mum's idea *sweat*

It has been a long long time since my previous entry... been busy with my final exam and fyp in May... busy for cruise and Taiwan in early of June.. busy for moving over to penang in end of June... from July onwards... busy because of working... and most importantly.. having some problems with my broadband connection... which just had been solved recently...

I am always wanted to post something about my Virgo Star Cruise journey and also the meaningful Taiwan farewell trip cum gathering.. but too lazy to organise all the pictures.. *wink* somemmore now I am having external training everyday after work until 10pm... this will continue till mid of august.. so.. bare with me.. if u want nice pictures.. haha..

hmm.. some updates about my work in Agilent... I am a product engineer... still trying to learn as much thing as I can... my product is a WiMAX test set.. which is used to test WiMAX lor.. ok.. bullshitting.. haha.. if you are not sure what a WiMAX is.. u can always google... XD

I cant run away from those words which I used to skip in Uni time.. haha.. protocols.. MAC.. PHY.. VSWR.. Downlink..Uplink.. ranging.. ping.. UDP...the list goes on..very much depend on our previous knowledge.. but nvm.. can always revise back..

convo is coming soon.. feel a little excited.. not because of the convo itself... its because I gonna meet with all my good frens.. after this convo.. i guess the next get-all-around gathering will be a miracle.. sigh.. life goes on..

I had long for shabu shabu more than two weeks.. ever since we were flooded by assignments.. and finally the day came... tako suggested we went for dinner at Mizi tonight as she din have proper dinner for the past few days...

I ordered the pork slice set.. so that were the things that you will get.. one plate of pork slices.. one plate of mixed vegetables with fish, fish ball, dumplings japanese tofu, and other ordinary steamboat "must have" the best thing will be the dipping sauce located on the bottom left... very nice.. a mixture of nuts, sesame, chili, and duno wat else.. secret recipe.. haha.. taste a litte sour..

everyone will have their own pot.. so u can do watever u like.. haha..

It cost around rm20 per set.. as I am still broke.. so the dinner was sponsored by tako.. *hugshugs*

After dinner at Kinsahi.. we moved on to our next destination.. Danga Bay at JB.. around 30 mins to 45 mins distance from Jusco Tebrau.. but anway.. we took nearly 1 hour to reach... ya.. you are correct.. we lost our way again..

It was Saturday night.. so the bay was full with people.. couples.. families.. there was even a mini convert going on.. although i duno who were the singers.. erm... malay singers..

After Spiderman 3, me and zhe went for dinner at Kinsahi.. we were so attracted by the interior design and the entrance of the restaurant.. and so.. lead to "wallet bleeding" not of wallet anyway *wink*

Long tables beside the windows.. a nice place for "dai sik wui" outside the window is the night scene of tebrau city.. ok.. i admit.. its not a very nice scenery.. haha

The small table that we having dinner... since we only have two pl mar.. luckily the waiter did not lead us to the yellow chairs.. right bottom corner of the picture.. all the passerbys will have a look at what you are eating.. as the tables just located at the entrance.. i dun like this..

The kitchen.. the waiters.. they speak their own created japanese cum english.. hahaha

So now the food.. every table will first serve with this egg-yolk-wasabi-salad.. I tot its free initially.. and it taste nice... but when we wanted to bill that time.. I realised this salad cost rm5..

Japanese curry.. RM9.90

Unagi Bento.. RM19.90

Kiwi milk shake.. RM5.90

Japanese curry was normal... a litte sweeter if compare with local curry.. but I wonder if this is the real japanese curry that u will find in japan.. haha...

Unagi bento was also normal... unagi was still as nice as all the japanese restaurant could served.. rice was japanese rice.. this is extremely important.. Some japanese restaurants serve with local rice which i think is very unproffessional la...

Kiwi milk shake is nice.. since I dun usually find kiwi milk shake ordinary restaurant...

I feel that Lavender bistro is far more worth the money spent.. but anyway.. Kinsahi is a japanese restaurant.. as all of us should have expected about the pricing *wink*

Today zhe brought me to Jusco Tebrau at Johor.. We took nearly 3 hours to reach as we lost our way *sobsob* In and out of the same toll gate for a few times.. I guess the "toll keeper" already can recognise our car *wink*

We watched Spiderman 3 there.. I like the cinema in there.. TGV.. very spacious.. a lot better than GSC melaka.. the seats also more comfortable.. ok.. back to Spiderman.. a bit dissappointed.. hmm.. duno how to say.. u watch then u shall know wat I mean :D I rather watch Superman return once more.. hahaha... :">

Now lets move on to the food... Lavender bistro.. Its actually a bakery la... zhe told me this bakery is very very famous in Johor.. just like Bread story in KL area.. but Lavender provides a place for customers to sit down and relax.. its not only a bakery.. but more to a ..ok.. bistro.. as the name suggests :P

Ham and Mushroom Penne in white sauce - RM8.90

Red plum lime soda - RM4.90

Tea latte - RM4.90

Err.. now only I realised.. I forgot to take some pictures around the cafe.. the environment is real nice.. and its worth the price.. the drinks are very big in size.. tea latte is nice.. very smooth.. a little sweet.. but not too much.. just nice.. pasta is nice too.. very creamy.. soda.. a little too sour.. overall.. its a good place.. either to feed ur stomach.. or to hang around with buddies..

a rather funny picture.. I wanted to take a "yellowish" picture.. but that zhe said this kind of photo.. cannot look straight into the camera.. but look at some where else.. then the effect will only be perfect.. so end up... I duno wat happen to my fingers :P

Today I went to Creative Hair Saloon in Bukit Beruang to have a brand new hair style.. huhu~ Took me nearly one hour to get this hair style done.. and cost RM25

I told the stylist... I want a modern yet acceptable hair style.. as I will be reporting to work soon mar... later boss tak syok.. hahah.. so.. pictures of it..

cosmo noddle world

I went to melaka during the weekend.. and takeshi brought me to this restaurant... cosmo noodle world... the waitress and waiters speak "weird" mandarin and "acceptable" english.. i think they are not malaysian.. maybe vietnamese..

the environment is nice.. sadly i forgot to take any picture.. but i did take some pictures on the the food that we ordered..

Fried pork meat ball.. nth special about this..

Thai pork noddle (dry).. this is nice.. taste a little sweet... and noddle not bad.. the pork normal.. but overall.. they did make a good combination.. worth for a try..

this.. tomyam ramen.. the soup is so thich and so rich in ingredients.. that will actually make u breathe fire.. haha... not for someone who cant tolerate spicy and sour food..

fire drill at midnite where all the HB3 residents got to run out and squart down at mosque parking : the crowd.. why it was HB3 and not 4 or 1 or 2?
demonstration by the fireman.. "shooting water" to the hostel block... pitty those who forgot to close their windows... and i doubt why is this demonstration neccessary?

i can understand the neediness of firedrill.. but the demo.. i cant think of any other than wasting of water.. although we clapped at the end of the demo :P

hmm.. so that we can go back to our rooms and cont our works..

CyberPutra Roadrunner Challenge 2007

8am - 6.30pm

A big apologize to those who have been waiting for this post as I was a little busy for the past few days... hope that today is still not to late to update on the event I had taken part with my two other buddies.. tako and won..

Hmm... why are all our faces look like "swollen"??? i guessed this because it was still early in the day.. (good excuse) oh ya.. notice our "team cap"? hunt for it at alamanda yesterday *wink*

The race flag off at 9am sharp.. the first stop was to play golf.. :-& where we were required to hit the ball 500m apart.. erm... we are a little dump in this.. that we hardly reached half of the required distance.. so.. we got ourselves the very first penalty of the day.. 10 mins penalty.. *clapclap*

Second station was the police station cyberjaya... i duno there is a police station in cyberjaya until that day itself : cant deny that we had spent quite some time locating it.. where we were asked to do some marching...

3rd station was in putrajaya.. we got to find a clinic located within an apartment.. the only hint was there is a 7-11 beside the clinic.. amazingly.. we found it with our first attempt.. (the ONLY amazing thing that happened to us : ) in this station one of the team member got to throw the dices and see what were the dipping sauces combination that you gonna eat with the indian kuih..

4th station.. putrajaya transit.. the place we earned ourselves the second penalty of the day.. each team member was asked to transfer the frog from one pail to another with only bare hands.. fail will get us an additional penalty of 20 mins.. surprisingly.. won was the first person who tried out.. followed by me.. and last.. tako.. tako had been trying very hard to complete the task.. although we spent quite a long time for the task.. but good try.. *clap clap* specially to tako..

ok.. there were all together 17 stations.. although we only managed to complete 14.. but still that will be too much for me to list down.. so.. ok.. we jumped to the ending directly..

I wish I could take some pictures during the run.. but too bad.. was too busy solving the clues and finding the ways..

we were the 3rd team.. too bad that non of us remember to take picture with our car.. and the goodies bag for each of the team..

all the clues and games envelope.. a lot huh.. cant imagine that we had gone through so many games and stations.. and dun forget.. we left 3 stations unvisited..

Its was a fun day... very memorable.. the first time 3 of us got involved in such activity.. and we now we can be the tour guide of putrajaya.. muahahaha.. booking is available started from today onwards..

Happened this evening.. i duno who is the owner of the bed sheet.. my towel was hung there initially (black circle).. when i came out from my room.. i saw the wet bed sheet hanging right above my towel.. and the result.. my towel got all wet..

At first i thought no one in the hostel will be so inconsiderate.. since those who staying hostel are highly educated ppl.. not until i touched my towel and the bed sheet.. yes.. the bed sheet is WET..

i wont mind if u staying upstairs and the clothes u hang upstairs wet my clothes.. but this case.. its just directly above.. so.. wat can i say other than selfishness...

ok.. back to the topic.. i found this cute little "tangling" handphone accessory at mini-toons in one-U.. woah.. my FILA bag fall in love with this chain at her first glance.. and so i decided to give the chain to her as a recognition for the hard work throughout the two years of serving..
hehe.. maybe you should consider buying something for your faithful "follower" as well? i will be more than happy if u would like to buy my FILA bag another present.. >:)

Today is the big day... interview with Agilent.. i was assigned to the afternoon session which will start on 1pm... the interview took place in SRC room..

When i reached there, the manager gave me 2 sets of "exam paper" the paper covering everything from A to Z and head to toe of my 4 years engineering study.. Let me try to recall it and write it down so that i can share them with you all..

1. impedance matching
2. transistor
3. digital logic design (latches , flip-flop)
4. verilog
5. spectrum analyser
6. computer stuff (ROM, RAM, FLASH, OSI, etc)
7. root locus
8. programming
etc.. too much to remember

above were only the paper test.. so now.. lets move on to the interview.. topics that covered are listed below

1. transistor analysis
2. tank circuit
3. filter
4. DSP
5. CDMA, GSM, digital modulation
6. S-parameter
etc... cant remember

but all and all.. the mangers are nice ppl.. never shoot us.. he even explained some of the stuffs to me... but i am certainly sure that he is not willing to see me in the R&D department... why? i am not going to tell you ^o^

I wonder if this post consider a tip for those who are going to interview... lol... i am not trying to frighten anyone here... but thats the stuffs that were asked during the interview... i am very honest... hahaa... so ... good luck :)

Motorola interview

Today i had the very first job interview in my life at Mandarin Oriental Hotel with Motorola. I was schedule to have my interview on 10am with an eletrical engineer. Each person is allocated a 30 mins time slot. I guess nth much can be asked for such a short period.

Before the event started, breakfast was served.. 3 types of erm.. delicacies i shall call them.. were served. All 3 types of food were cut into tiny tiny pieces which u can actually swallow them in once.. but i dun suggest ladies to do that especially in ur "big" day :D First one i took was a tiny piece of carrot cake, the second one is raw salmon roll in "slightly harder popiah skin", third one.. tomatoes and mushrooms on toasted baguette slice.. sorry that i was too busy enjoying the food till i forgot to take picture.. however, i dun think i will snap one even though i remember it :"> u know.. the "big" day..

After we finished our meals, we started looking for a place to put our forks and plates.. too used to Agilent ethic :"> in fact we only need to leave our used plates and forks on any visible places and the waiters will clear it for us... hahaha.. erm.. are we too kampung or wat? *wink*

There were door gifts as well... each of us were given a backpack with mousepad and pen in it.. in the end of the function there would be a lucky draw.. which a motorola handphone will be given out..

ok.. enuff for that.. lets get back to the interview :) all of us were being asked about our fyp.. as in my case.. my interviewer insist me to draw out my fyp and explain to him... although i told him that it would take me and him a lot of time if i was to explain how a viterbi algorythm works.. however.. i have no choice since he wanted me to..no technical questions other than asking about my fyp and trying to test my understanding on the project... i think mostly is because i did mention sth about the transmitter and receiver... haha.. who knows..

Heres are some techinical questions which were asked by other interviewers to other condidates.. filters... transistors... receiver structure... op amp.. drawing circuits.. etc.. i can only remember these few :">

one thing for sure.. you have to revise... revise and revise ur basic electronics, field theory and possible circuit theory.. and not to forget RF if you are doing telecom and microwave..

I guess thats all for now.. i will try to post up more tips after my second job interview which will be with Agilent... that will be a 3 hour assessment.. wish me luck :|

Always wanted to blog about the Pulau Jerejak outitng, and finally its here... The whole trip cost RM70 per pax which i think its worth.. including ferry.. buffet breakfast and lunch and tea break.. and the activities we had been through.. please refer the pictures below :)

It was a very meaningful trip as most of the activities we never try before... The trip was also the last outdoor outing that we had before we leave penang to continue our studies.. Hope that we can meet each other once more in the future :)

Today's lecture started at 8am. Its not that hard to wake up early, thanks to the good training during internship.

Many coursemates permed their hair, I wonder why.

Hows life back in Agilent? Without autumn kid, dai lou, tortoise chin and me... no more psycho target for bing.. gonna miss you guys..

Agilent wants us to go back for face to face interview.. its a good start :)

Today is my last day in Agilent.. Kenny came over to my table and have a few words with me and tortoise chin.. It was so sweet.. thanks kenny.. do keep in touch and hope that we can meet again sometime somewhere..

Time flies.. I still remember the first day i came to agilent.. dunno anybody.. duno what should i do.. and i cant wait for the training to finish.. it was like yesterday... slowly.. i adopted myself to the working environment.. and mixed around with colleagues.. they are nice ppl.. i gonna miss all of them..

and now.. i started to love penang.. started to love spicy char kuey tiow.. started to love the cows by the roadside.. and more.. tomolo i am going to leave this beutiful island.. i guess i will come back..

not to forget.. my beloved Agilent gang.. you guys brought me a lot of unforgetable memories.. dai lou.. who always come out with funny sentences and leave for us to debate.. pinn.. always psycho dai lou and me.. autumn kid..who always do stunt.. and also comments on ppl's stunt.. weilliam.. who always keep quiet but laugh with us.. tortoise chin.. i guess u all should know from his name.. no need further explaination... :D I regret that i din start this blog earlier that i can share more of the funny moments.. thanks guys.. wish that we can meet again and talk craps and have all the debatings once more.. white water rafting

We woke up in early morning and gathered at the organizer's house ---- chiaw yin's house at sg dua and got ready to head for sg. sedim

I still remember Steph first mentioned about this rafting to me... was so so excited and cant wait for the day to come...

Weather forecast telling that north malaysia gonna rain for the entire weekend... we can do nth except praying hard.. and today the weather was just nice.. the rain only came after we completed all our activities.. i think we did have a lucky person in the gang as what chiaw yin was saying.. *wink*

All ready to go for rafting.. but... where is ruyuan and steph?

Before the rafting started, we got to have an intensive course named "water confidence" guess wat.. we got to jump into the river from a rock..it was like a survivor skill when u fall into the water..

The instructor was giving some intructions and followed by a demo.. Can you see the running water? :P

My very first outdoor activity in penang~ I cant remember who was the organizer for this.. as this happened quite some time ago..

The hike to the beach was considered ok.. the killing part was the way up to the lighthouse.. nearly kill everyone of us.. all of us walking like a duck in the following week in the office.. ^o^

Mukahead beach.. the sky and sea look so so nice..

We reached the lighthouse at last.. but sadly.. the gate was locked.. we snapped some pictures and then went down to the beach and waited for the boat to come and pick us up..
